alright kids, sorry if you're looking for an extra new post.I'm not sure if we're going to be the bloggers that are addicted and post everyday, we're usually out and about or too lazy...anyway; Chandler and I have not been on since like Tuesday, but we had two posts that day so in my opinion it makes up for it. We've been kinda busy with summer shopping, and of course studying for finals and such.(plus i'm supposed to be grounded from my computer for two weeks...shhh!) But in other news, we're skipping our loser class trip and are going to the beach this Tuesday, yaay first beach trip for the summer! While there we're going to one of the cheapest, but best places to buy jewelry. It's on the Ocean City boardwalk and it's called Cloud 9. They have adorable stuff, but for practically dirt cheap! We're in love (: I'm not exactly sure where else these stores are located..or if they're located other places...? ha. wow, feeling a little slow, but if you want to look it up I say it's definitely worth it!
hoping to post something new soon!

Here comes the sun
wow. I wish the sun would come! This looks like it could be our second full week of rain! blahh. And ,even worse, it's hott and sticky. So I have been having some trouble with what I should wear lately. Shorts, jeans? Sweatshirt, tank top, etc.*Chandler does not have this problem since her closet is the Willy Wonka Factory for clothes*But I'm going mad! And additionally, i'm so tired I seriously look like I'm living impaired. With this combination people are probably terrified of me, I'm surprised no one is running yet. So I finally decided to get on Polyvore and come up with a solution! I put together two cute outfits, *as you can see above*, complete with adorable raincoats and umbrellas! After all, who said rainy days have to be dull?

Does it matter that our anchor couldn't even reach the bottom of the bathtub
Oh My GOODNESS! My sailor shorts that I ordered from Nordstrom's finally arrived today! More details on other things that I ordered later.
I am currently envying a boyfriend blazer much like the one below. I like that it is smart yet casual.
Below are photos from a notebook that I started a few weeks ago. I usually cut apart old magazines, take the very best pictures of shoes, clothes, models, etc., and tape them all into a journal. I decorated many pages just with an assortment of fashionable and inspiring pictures from magazines such as TeenVogue, Seventeen, and Cosmogirl. Believe me, there is about ten pounds of tape stuck to this thing. I like to call it the Fashinspiration notebook. It has a ring to it, you know??
<3>

Zac Efron and Heart Shaped Glasses rule the world.

I love this page because of all of the models on it. Hyoni Kang and Chanel Iman to name a few. They are probably my favorite teen models. So pretty. Oh, and the awesomely decorated bar of soap in the top left corner also makes this page a must see.

The cover of my darling Fashinspiration. I'm sad that I can't put all of the pictures on here. (Believe me, I would, and you would be bored of looking at collage after collage.)
My order from Trendy Outfitter is supposed to arrive soon. There are very cute dresses and tops on that site, and all unbelievably priced!! I've ordered quite a haul of clothes, and I can't wait for everything to arrive. Why does China have to be so far away??

Wow. I really think that Marc by Marc Jacobs had some amazing stuff in the Resort 2010 collection. I absolutely adore the geometric shirts and patterns used in some of the looks. Cute things that I would definitely wear any day. If I were at a resort. And it was 2010...
School is winding down so much now, we're just wrapping up the year. Prettymuch. We have six days of half days before summer vacation. That's about twenty four hours of school left now that I think about it. I think we have a field trip on tuesday to some campsite with a lake. On a half day. Joy. We don't even get some sort of fancy graduation or anything. No. What we get is just a, "Oh you're a high schooler now. Great, just some more emotionally unstable teens with issues." The weekend better hurry up, that's all I have to say.

suppose I kept on singing love songs

The full week of rain that has been my plaguing my town (and my schedule)is finally over! Now all of the flowers can bloom peacufully!
Today is such a nice day, i want to go swimming at the local pool. Well, not really swimming, just tanning and such.(And by 'such' I mean checking out cute lifeguards - that one's for you Shannon!)
Some of you are probably going: 'eww, public pool!? that' the kind that all of the little kiddies do their business in!'
Well, its the best thing that I have, unless I want to take a dip in the local snake infested lake. (Now that makes me squeamish.)
I've always wanted to take a fashion drawing course so I can put my dream designs down on paper. Kind of like the one over at Fashion Club FIDM and learn how to draw a nine heads model like a real designer. But, oh, the classes are for teens in high school only and are exclusively in CALI. Hmmph. So, my boring, amateur designs must suffice my imagination for now. At least until next year. ;)
Speaking of designers, when do you think Project Runway will appear on tv again? I'm pretty sure that I heard that they have a new channel and everything for the newest season. It would be a shame if that show is gone forever. I absolutely love every episode from every season. It's not only inspiring to watch designers make great works of art in a ridiculous amount of time, but its also fun to see their personalities. I like how you really see who the designers are and what they're about. Oh, and I adore Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum as hosts. Let's cross our fingers that we hear news soon!

Walk like a hero into the street
1. Mix water and bleach into a bucket or water bottle. The water to blach ratio will effect the outcome of your jeans. We did 1 bleach/2 water. Choose your preferred amount, or just wing it like we did!
2. Spread Jeans over grass, and put on rubber gloves. WARNING! Do not apply mixture to open cuts, it burns like fire! (We would know)
3. Apply bleach onto jeans by any means that you want. Drizzle, spray, sprinkle, or all out pour the mixture onto your jeans. Do so on both sides in any place that you want.
4. Hang jeans to dry, or just leave them there on the grass for a while. Check back frequently. Jeans will become progressively lighter over the next few hours.
5.When you get your desired effect, you can do two things.
* Repeat steps 1-4 for more color and contrast.
* Machine wash jeans.
6.Get rid of bleach water by dumping it somewhere. (IDK, that's what we did. Haha. Sorry, gardeners!)
7.Let jeans dry by air dry or by means of a dry cleaner. Put them on, and ROCK ON!!

I wore these to go shoe shopping yesterday, and you could not believe the amount of heads turned in my direction when I walked in the store. People in my small town have probably never seen anything like that in their entire lives. Oh, and the looks that I got from some five year old girl really killed me. It was hilarious watching their reactions to just one piece of clothing. (I think that I even put this one woman into a state of shock.) I ended up leaving without buying a single pair of shoes, but I was the most satisfied person in that entire shoe warehouse by the time that I left.
We watched the Blair Witch Project yesterday. You know, just because we had never seen it before or anything, and we felt like being scared. Alright, so we first turn it on, and it looks like its a home movie or something. So Rach and I are biigg skeptics on whether a movie is scary or not. We literally pick apart the movie as we're watching it. But this was totally different. I mean, we couldn't help but wonder if this was real or not. (Thank goodness it isn't.) At first the movie wasn't scary, but then it just got creepier as it went along. Oh, and the ending scared the living daylights out of my little sister, while Rach and I were just plain freaked from what happened from middle to end.
On a brighter note, we have recently discovered Polyvore, and are obsessed with making little collages of looks that we like.

Oh Look, he brought flowers
Florals are a good way to look summery, no? Most of the pieces in my closet are pale or blandly colored.

Haha. We have too much funn. My sister was laughing at us the entire time, and we couldn't stop talking. So mostly all of the pictures turned out looking like roadkill with its mouth looking like it was stuck in mid sentence. (Most of the pictures turned out less than pretty.) Finally, we managed to pull off a serious looking shot, and had to sort through all of the other ridiculous ones to find one that was half decent.
I am currently envying bold statement pieces that add a pop of color to any outfit. I often find a trend that I like and focus only that specific piece for a while. Right now it's boldly colored blazers and skirts. Call it a temporary obsession with a particular style of clothing, if you must. I think that I will die if I don't at least print out a picture of the article of clothing that matches my 'mini-sesh' (miniature obsession).

Oh, and the DIY acid wash jeans are coming along nicely. They most likely will be done by tomorrow.

I was hanging in the corner with my five best friends
The summer is two weeks away. Two whole weeks too long. Two whole weeks of doing pointless busy work and/ or nothing at all. I ordered many clothes on the internet this week, mostly from http://www.trendyoutfitter.com/ . Good stuff on that site. [:
I believe that Rach and I are going to bleach/acid wash our jeans as a DIY project. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to accomplish this? I think I'll look methods up online to make them look decent. I'll post a picture of what they look like when they're done.

I'm still here & you're still gone.
We are not telling you to read Viva La Vogue because :
1. it is the best thing since high heels
2. because we are the most awesome fashionistas you will ever meet
or 3. because you have nothing better to do.
No, we are not doing that. We are simply providing a summer activity for ourselves, and if you enjoy our witty sarcasm or rants about nothing, then this is the blog for you. Expect many MANY random things to be posted here. We have no guidelines, or any type of strict "All Fashion" policy that directs our posts to one topic. We may talk about the best shoes for this season one day, or why adopting a unicorn is bad for your grass the next day. Either way, we hope you enjoy whatever we post, because chances are, when we post it, we're just as bored as you are when you're reading it. (or not) This site is just a way for us to express ourselves and save us from our *slightly* boring lives in New Jersey.
Along with fashion posts, we offer a unique look at life with a splash of crazy teen humor that one could only pull from the minds of two all around different teenage girls.
Happy blogging!
